The 3 Valleys is a huge ski area which offers fantastic off piste guiding possibilities for all levels. If you are eager to ski powder, spring snow, fun tree lines, bumps or steeper slopes and couloirs then why not explore with an experienced instructor and guide who knows the terrain inside out and where to find the best snow.
All our off piste guiding will be tailored to your or your private group's exact requirements. By choosing to ski with a private guide you will have the benefit of full flexibility in the organisation of your day or morning. So you could combine the guiding with some technical off piste instruction and we can also show you how to use avalanche transceivers if you have not used them before.
For off piste guiding we require you to carry full avalanche safety equipment (backpack or airbag with transceiver, shovel and probe) and can recommend where you can hire the safety kit in resort if you do not already have your own.
Steve is a great instructor and guide. I have been skiing for many years but he really helped me work on my technique over moguls and off piste. He is brilliant at understanding your level very quickly and knowing how to take you further without over-stretching you.

Full Day
£450 GBP
- All day (6+ hour) booking with a private instructor/guide for complete flexibility.
- Start and finish the day when and wherever you or your private group would like to.
- POA Christmas, New Year, Easter & February Half Term.
Flexible Morning
£330 GBP
- 4 hour booking with a private instructor/guide to maximise your morning.
- Full flexibility to start and finish the morning when and wherever you or your group would like to.
- POA Christmas, New Year, Easter & February Half Term.
Our pricing is straightforward
We prefer to keep things simple by charging a flat rate for our private tuition and guiding services. Therefore you will not be charged a supplement based on the number of people in your private lesson or guided group.
For off piste guiding bookings we insist on a maximum of six skiers in your private group for safety reasons. Please note that we do not provide avalanche safety equipment for guiding and it is not included in our pricing.
Other important details
Your personal safety is our main priority. From a safety perspective please note that we will only ski off piste during private lessons or guided days if the snow and weather conditions permit.
For all dedicated off piste ski lessons and guiding the use of full avalanche safety equipment is mandatory. We can advise on where you can hire a pack (backpack or airbag/transceiver/shovel/probe) in resort if you do not have your own.
Helmets are compulsory for all children and teenagers aged up to 18 years in our private lessons or when skiing with the guide.
You will benefit from priority access to the ski lifts meaning that you get more time on the slopes to ski. We are also able to provide video analysis and feedback for private lessons on request.
We always try to be as flexible as possible but due to demand in the busiest school holiday weeks we are unable to split the week between different client bookings.
For the main February half term week we require a minimum booking for six full days of private tuition or guiding. And for the New Year and main Easter holiday week we require a minimum booking of five (4 hour) mornings for private ski lessons or guiding.
